• While our cups should be totally fine on the top rack of your dishwasher using a normal heat cycle, please be aware dishwashing soaps, temperatures, and water hardness varies from home to home. This can lead to buildup that may affect the appearance of your cup over time. If you want to be extra safe, we get it, give your cup a gentle hand-wash!

• Here in Louisiana, our water is moderately hard, and we haven’t had any issues washing our cups in the dishwasher. Because dishwashing results can vary, if you choose to machine wash, you acknowledge that Sip-Sip Hooray is not responsible for any potential fading, warping, or damage caused by dishwasher use.

• Treat your cup like the cutie it is: no soaking, no harsh scrubbing (a gentle sponge is totally fine), and no soaking your lid either.

• 16oz Plastic Cups: Comes with a clear, dishwasher-safe acrylic lid—not bamboo and plastic straw.

• 16oz Glass Cups: Comes with a bamboo lid, glass straw, and straw cleaner.

• 17oz Clear Glass Mugs: Comes with a bamboo lid and straight plastic straw.

• 40oz Plastic Cups: Includes a plastic, dishwasher-safe lid—not bamboo and plastic straw. (Cup styles may vary during peak seasons.)

• 40oz Glass Tumblers: Glass straws may not reach the very bottom, but don’t worry—they still work perfectly for sipping! Each 40oz tumbler also includes a plastic straw that reaches the bottom. -comes with Bamboo lid and straw cleaner.

• Lids do not have vent holes, but this does not affect suction as long as the cup isn’t overfilled.

If liquid creeps up through the straw when inserting it after sealing the lid, this is due to air displacement.To avoid this, insert the straw before sealing the lid.
